Cochran & Mann, Inc. was formed and incorporated in the state of Maryland as a paint and wallcovering company in December 1990. The company's formation was born out of the realization that in today's economy only a company which provides quality services consistent with high professional standards and fair treatment for all employees has even a chance at a promising future. This vision was the basis by which five highly knowledgeable and experienced individuals built Cochran & Mann, Inc. into what it is today.

Cochran & Mann, Inc. had its humble beginnings in a one room office and shop with limited storage and working capacities located at 7869 Cessna Avenue, Gaithersburg, Maryland. The company began targeting only smaller commercial jobs around the Washington, DC area. All of the estimating, marketing, accounting, and actual field work was performed by the owners and a few valued painters and craftsmen. Each subsequent year brought growth and new opportunities as well as new challenges. The original employees of 1991 and many since have evolved into fine leaders, skilled craftsmen and continue to help our firm succeed.

Our operation has grown into two locations. The staff works from their new 5000sf office headquarters at 5107 Pegasus Court, Suite A, Frederick, Maryland and has the facilities to service the entire Baltimore/ Washington, DC metropolitan area. Our original 6,000 sq. ft. location is now used solely for managing inventory, equipment, and vehicles. The company's growth and unique and diverse abilities have allowed us to accomplish a much wider range of projects. Cochran & Mann realizes that through continuous growth, flexibility, and a willingness to innovate we can all successfully meet the demand that awaits us in the future.
